Sewing Classes in Richmond, VA

September 11, 2009

I’m Cherri and you can learn to sew in my studio in Richmond, VA.  This blog is a place to visit and see what’s going on in the west end of Richmond with sewing and what’s going on with the studio and it’s students.  Currently, there are 3 sewing classes available. Tuesday nights, you can take a sewing class from 6:30 – 9:00. The Sept class is underway, and full!

Starting the week of Sept 21, there will be a Monday night class that will meet from 6:30 – 9:00 also. I opened that class yesterday, and it’s half full today. If you want to take the Monday night class, please e-mail me, and I’ll send you a registration form. Otherwise, I should have a box on this site by the end of the weekend. It will hold registration forms and studio customs (rules).

There is a morning sewing class on Wed. mornings that begins next week. The first class is 9/16.  It has openings and we meet from 9:15 – 11:45. E-mail me for a registration form.

A Thursday morning class begins on Thurs. 9/24. Class begins at 9:15 and runs until 11:45 also. Openings are available.

The fee for the classes is $125 for a session of 4 consecutive classes.  If you miss a class, you may make it up during one of my other class times.  This is a total of 10 instructional hours.  You don’t have to have your own machine, but if you do, it’s best for you to learn to use it.   If you have one, bring it;0)

Generally in the first session, you will make a pair of pajama pants, but you can contact me and we can talk about options.
