Merry Christmas!!!
Wow, It’s Christmas EVE. My son has contacted us that he made it safely to Afghanistan. My other children are home for the evening, and we are looking forward to a relaxing day. Because one of us is away, we aren’t ‘celebrating’ as usual. Rather, we are just making sausage links, home-made rolls and a few simple gifts.
Then, I will sew my new loveseat cushions, and embroider the tallit that will ship out Monday. The first week of Jan, we start back with the sewing classes. We have Monday mornings with home-schoolers, Monday afternoons for after school sewing, Wed. morning class, and a Wed. evening class for beginning sewing, Thurs morning class and Thurs evening class for “Book ’ems” (that means it hasn’t yet been determined whether they will be beginning or intermediate. e-mail me and we’ll work around what the need is). Then I have some workshops on Saturdays and Sundays.
Are you having a wonderful Christmas season? Are you sewing? Have you sewn for the holidays?
Gotta go for now. I’ll post pictures of the cushions as they progress.
