By Popular Demand – Classes in the west end again!

March 1, 2012

In answer to your requests for a west end location again, I’ve hooked up with Hobby Lobby at Short Pump to offer both beginning and intermediate sewing at their store. So if you are looking for some beginners or intermediate sewing classes in the far west end of Richmond, VA, look no further.

The first series of classes I’m teaching at Hobby Lobby begin on 4/16. You can take a beginners class on Monday nights and Intermediate classes on Tuesday nights. You will also be able to buy your supplies as you need them, and with your instructor there to guide you through what is what at the fabric store! They have a decent selection of woven fabrics in home decor, fashion fabrics and quilting cottons. If you are looking for knits, they have a limited, but adequate selection. Patterns are available, as are notions. Being able to study/teach at the source for your supplies takes this to a whole new level!

Let’s do it!

To register for the Hobby Lobby, April classes, you still book through my Paypal account. The classes should be listed on the local Hobby Lobby website within about 60 hours from now. Registration is as simple as e-mailing me, telling me which class you’d like to take and either mail me a check, or Paypal payment for your registration within 24 hours of your e-mail. I can send you a paypal invoice, if you like, but I don’t hold a place for unpaid registrations more than 24 hours.

Private lessons may be permitted at Hobby Lobby also. Check with them, or with me and we’ll work that out!

See ya soon. Sew Joyfully 🙂
