Beginners sewing class in Richmond, VA

May 6, 2012

The next series of beginners sewing classes at Hobby Lobby begins on 5/21. We meet on 5/21, 5/28, 6/4, 6/11 and 6/18. We meet for 2 hours (6-8 pm) each week. This is a Monday night class. Supply packs for the class can be paid for and picked up at Hobby Lobby, after the 15th. Cost of supplies is in addition to class fee. Class fee is $140 for the 5 week course.

Students taking this class do not need any previous sewing experience, or a sewing machine. If you have a sewing machine, you may want to bring it to class, so you can learn to use your own machine.

Is this class for kids as well? I have a 10 yo daughter who is very interested in learning to sew. She got a sewing machine for Christmas and has had a short lesson with her grandmother.

This is not a class for children, but I have several people who have contacted me about class for kids. Email or call me and let’s see what we can set up.
