It’s official – Beginner’s sewing class will be available at the Hobby Lobby in Chesterfield!

February 13, 2013

Beginning 3/4, I will be teaching beginner’s sewing classes at Hobby Lobby in Chesterfield. Registration is open and I have begun booking students. The first class will be open to 6 students. We will meet from 6-8 pm on Tuesdays:  3/5,12,19,26 and 4/9.

Cost is $150. To register, simply email me to request a registration form, and mail or paypal your payment. Spaces are guaranteed upon receipt of your payment, not receipt of your registration form, so Paypal is the recommended payment method.

Beginners will learn the basics of a sewing machine, and will learn how to use sewing patterns. In a beginner’s class, we usually make a simple garment, like pj pants or a pencil skirt. We generally make the decision the first night of class based on pattern availability and the majority vote in the class. We do all work on the same project in a beginner’s class.

Hope you will join us. It’s going to be a great time. I LOVE my students and Hobby Lobby ROCKS!

one question, do you bring your own personal sewing machine or will hobby lobby provide you with one to learn with?

I teach as an independent contractor. So, if you don’t have a machine, I provide one for your use in class. Hobby lobby doesn’t sell sewing machines.
