Fall Fun Sewing

September 29, 2013

I’ve just gotten to my little haven in WV after a day of sewing the layette for the grandbaby coming in December. The after-school classes are going well. Here you can see the two students I currently have in class with their projects from the first day of class. DSC_0001

These two girls are very quick to pick up everything i teach them. Beginning in October, we will be working on a pair of pajamas pants.

The adult classes are going well also. We’ve got one intermediate class that seems to be an ongoing class. There are 3-4 students in that class and we meet on Thursdays. The Monday evening class has 5 students in it and it’s one of the rare times that everyone in class has a sewing machine. Come to think of it, that’s true for all of my adult classes right now. Other than the kids class, I don’t have to haul sewing machines to and fro right now. That is very nice.

Now classes begin in 2 weeks. Check the schedule on the Adult or kids classes page and see what works for your schedule. I prefer the format of the 4, rather than the 5 week classes, and it’s less expensive for students. Yay!

Gotta go for now, but I’ll try to upload some pictures of the layette this evening.
